Estate Navigatorby Arch Network Services

When you take over a parent's affairs, we build the file with you.

We gather the documents, accounts, care decisions, and household details caregivers inherit, show you what's missing, and keep it all current until the estate is closed.

Sample family. Every case gets a running list like this.

The attorney hands you a packet. The planner manages the investments. Nobody helps with the rest.

The rest is most of the work: finding the deed, tracking which bills still need paying, choosing between home care and assisted living, keeping your siblings informed, and figuring out who pays the electric bill on an empty house while it waits to sell.

Most families do it from a shoebox of papers and a group text. We give you a single organized file, a person who keeps it current, and a clear list of what still needs doing.

How it works

  1. We meet with your family

One conversation to learn who's involved, what documents exist, and where things stand. Often your elder law attorney refers you.

  2. We gather and organize everything

You upload what you have or we scan it with you. We enter accounts, policies, property, and household items so you don't have to.

  3. You get a gap report

A plain list of what's in place, what's missing, and what's urgent. A missing power of attorney goes to the top.

  4. We keep it current

Regular check-ins as balances, bills, and care needs change, so the file is ready when it's needed.

  5. We help you close it out

When the time comes, the file becomes your checklist: notifications, packets for the executor and attorney, the house, and final distribution.

What goes in the file

Legal documents
Will, powers of attorney, living will, and where each original is kept.
Accounts and beneficiaries
Every account, who inherits it, and whether that matches the will. Beneficiary designations override the will, which surprises most families.
Care and mobility
Current care needs, what changes at each stage, what care costs, and how long the money lasts.
The house
How it's titled, what it costs to carry until it sells, and who fronted which bills so everyone is repaid fairly.
Belongings
A room-by-room inventory with photos, and who your parent wants to have what.
Final wishes
Funeral plans, prepaid contracts, and what they do and don't include.

The conversations to have before you need them

Paying the family caregiver

When one sibling gives up evenings and weekends to provide care, should they be paid or receive a larger share? Decided in writing ahead of time, it's fair and defensible. Raised after a death, it usually isn't, and it's one of the most common reasons families stop speaking.

Choosing the executor

The will can't cover every decision. We help your parent pick someone who'll follow their wishes under pressure, and put those wishes in writing so the executor has something to point to.

Who carries the house

Whoever inherits a house inherits its bills until it sells. We work out the amount ahead of time so your parent can set money aside and no one ends up paying out of pocket.

For elder law attorneys

Refer clients after signing, and they come back organized. With your client's consent, you get read-only access to the gap report, asset summary, and document packets. We don't give legal advice, and we flag anything that needs your attention instead of answering it ourselves.

Your family's information stays yours

What we don't do

We're not a law firm or a financial advisor, and nothing here is legal or financial advice. We don't hold money, pay bills, or sign anything on your behalf. We organize, explain, and tell you when to call your attorney or accountant.

Walk through a sample family's file: their readiness, what's missing, care planning, the house, and the packets we prepare. It uses made-up data, and there's nothing to sign up for.
